Haunted Wine Tour & Tasting

This fall, Buena Vista Winery invites you to uncover the mysteries, legends, and ghostly encounters woven into more than 165 years of history. Led by Sonoma historian and actor George Webber, this immersive 90 minute experience journeys through the historic Press House and Champagne Cellars, revealing true tales of unexplained happenings reported by Buena Vista team members and visitors throughout the years.

Hear the stories of the Glowing Ghostly Shirt, the Little Girl Who Says Hi, the mysterious Ghost Party on the Second Floor, the Old Man Who Walked Into a Stone Wall, and other strange occurrences that continue to add to the legend of Buena Vista.

Along the way, explore some of the winery’s most intriguing spaces, including the Bubble Lounge, Cave of Curiosities, and Wine Tool Museum, while enjoying five Buena Vista wines tasted throughout the experience, including a taste drawn directly from barrel.

And, as with any journey through Buena Vista’s extraordinary past, you never quite know when the winery’s legendary founder, Count Agoston Haraszthy, may choose to make an appearance.

History, wine, mystery, and perhaps a spirit or two await.
