Union County women age 40 and older who do not have health insurance are invited to register for a free mammogram screening through Project PINK, in partnership with Atrium Health Levine Cancer and Charlotte Radiology.
Project PINK is a free mammogram screening program for women without health insurance coverage for yearly mammograms. If you qualify, the program covers a 3D screening mammogram on Charlotte Radiology's mobile unit, one diagnostic mammogram within a year of your screening if needed, a biopsy if needed, and an ultrasound.
To take part, you must:
Be a woman age 40 or older
Live in Union County
Not have health insurance that covers yearly mammograms
Not be pregnant or breastfeeding
Have no new breast lumps or concerns
Registration is required. Space is limited.
