More About The History of Candy – Sweet Treats from the Past
With Halloween right around the corner, this is the time to take a lighthearted look into yesteryear with a fascinating history of candy. Lysa Stanton, a longtime local historian and researcher, will bring the past to life with a presentation of old-fashioned favorites, penny candy, and other treats generations remember from childhood. Expect to discover some of the surprisingly sweet history behind the candy we still love today.
