More About Chicago Scots’ 25th Annual Kilted Classic Golf Tournament Returns to Cantigny
The Chicago Scots, Illinois’ first and oldest non-profit organization, will celebrate the 25th anniversary of its Kilted Classic Golf Tournament on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Cantigny Golf Club in Wheaton. The annual event brings together golfers, community leaders and supporters for a day of golf, Scottish traditions and fundraising in support of Chicago Scots’ elder care mission at Caledonia Senior Living & Memory Care, which helps provide compassionate care and enrichment to the lives of older adults in its community. Every swing makes a difference.
This year’s milestone tournament offers an added draw for returning and new golfers alike, with Cantigny’s golf courses having recently undergone renovations, providing an updated experience for participants at one of the area’s premier golf destinations.
Presented by Roscoe Company, the 25th Annual Kilted Classic kicks off with an 11:00am shotgun start. Returning to Cantigny Golf Club this year, the tournament offers a full day of friendly competition, Scottish flair and community spirit, with Cantigny’s recently renovated Lakeside & Hillside courses adding an exciting new element to the experience. Whether a seasoned golfer or a first-time participant, the Kilted Classic offers something for everyone, including skill contests, whisky prizes on every hole and the always-entertaining Roscoe Massed Putt. Registration is available online for foursomes, pairs or single players. Complimentary Kilts can be rented at check-in on tournament day.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available and range from $100 to $10,000, allowing organizations to display logos at various locations across the course including food stations and bar carts, presentation of the winner’s prize and the ability to showcase brands to every golfer in attendance.
