Sunset Kayak Tour on Monroe Lake

This guided tour will be a simple paddle from the Pine Grove boat ramp southeast of Bloomington. We will explore the North Fork Waterfowl Resting Area on Lake Monroe and visit the location where Bald Eagles were reintroduced into Indiana and now nest. Evening is a great time to view wildlife, particularly beavers. We will also look for herons, egrets, and shorebirds and discuss the sounds of many songbirds. A relaxing and rewarding trip with hopes of a beautiful sunset at the end! (Kayaks, paddles, life jackets, and binoculars provided. No experience necessary. Minimum age: 10 years.)
