More About GPL: Tween Scene - Reach for Youth
Caroline Mouser from Reach for Youth will be here to help tweens by leading a session on Building Better Connections: Relationship & Communication Skills.
Friendships can get more complicated in middle school, and that can be a lot to carry. This session gives pre-teens practical, low-pressure tools for building positive, healthy relationships and communicating with confidence. We will look at how to listen and show empathy so people feel heard, and how to work through disagreements in a calm, constructive way.
What we'll cover:
Listening and showing empathy so people feel understood
Sharing your thoughts, feelings, and needs in a respectful, confident way
Working through disagreements and conflict
