Check out the vehicles that keep the city moving during the City of Crown Pointโs free Touch-A-Truck event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, at the Crown Point Sportsplex, located at 1313 E. North St.

The City of Crown Point was founded on Oct. 31, 1834, by Solon Robinson. At the time, it was known as Robinsonโs Prairie, named after Solon Robinson. Crown Point was incorporated as a town on June 3, 1868, and officially became a city 43 years later on June 6, 1911.
