More About Behind The Scenes Tour: Hoopskirts and Flappers

A woman born in 1850 who lived for 80 years would have seen fashion change dramatically in her lifetime. In this special tour of our Costume and Textile Collection, you’ll see how women’s clothing transitioned from the iron reign of the hoopskirt to the relative freedom of the flapper dress.

There are 3 chances to take this tour - September 17, 19, or 20. Advance registration is required for each date — space is limited!
