More About Trades District Block Party
Join us for an evening of live music, local food and beer, hands-on technology, public art, games, creative activities, and community connection in the heart of the Trades District.
The celebration kicks off with the unveiling of a new mural by Bloomington artist Journey Matthews, followed by a reception with free food and drinks. Then stick around for live music from The Sera-Tones and Amy O, local food trucks, beer from Upland Brewing Co., interactive robots, virtual reality, student-built video games, live 3D printing, arts and crafts, face painting, balloon art, Trades District trivia, and more.
You’ll also get a first look at ideas taking shape across the district — including new public art, gateways, and wayfinding concepts — and have a chance to share your feedback.
Meet local entrepreneurs, business owners, startups, and organizations helping grow Bloomington’s innovation community, including Amplify Bloomington, the City of Bloomington, and the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce.
