For more than a century, The Terror Institute stood as one of the nation's most prestigious research universities.
Founded in 1908, the Institute attracted only the brightest minds in science, medicine, engineering, psychology, and the arts. Behind its reputation for excellence, however, the faculty pursued research the outside world was never meant to discover.
Hidden beneath the campus, a network of underground steam tunnels connected every building to a classified research complex. There, professors conducted illegal experiments designed to eliminate fear, increase intelligence, and create the perfect human.
The experiments worked......until they didn't.
