Grand Mesa A Cappella Holiday Show "Theodore Buttons and the Christmas Star"
Grand Mesa A Cappella Chorus is presenting our annual Fall Concert at Colorado Mesa University in the Love Performance Hall on Saturday, November 14, 2026. We invite you to attend one of our two performances. You will have a choice of attending the matinee performance at 2 pm or an evening performance at 5 pm. This year our show theme will be "Theodore Buttons and the Christmas Star". This is a compelling Christmas Story that revolves around a Teddy Bear, Theodore Buttons, who has been put on the back of the toy shelf and is in need of love and friendship and wants to be chosen to be a part of a child's Christmas joy. It is a family show and will feature special characters that the whole family will absolutely love! There will be elves and toy characters as well as a special family who has traveled a great distance to visit an Elf workshop at Christmas Time. This beautiful story will be filled with lots of holiday cheer and your favorite holiday music performed in four part a cappella harmony. Several special guest quartets will be performing throughout the show along with our Award Winning Grand Mesa A Cappella Chorus. This concert is Free, but a $15.00 donation per adult is suggested and will be gracefully accepted at the show entrance door at the Love Recital Hall. Your donations will help support our chorus in many ways such as providing funds for sheet music, music education, travel expenses to yearly competitions, overhead costs for rehearsal site rent and general operating expenses. Our chorus is a not for profit organization, but we still need your donations to assist us with our expenses so we can keep giving our musical performances for our Western Slope Communities. We absolutely love to sing for you!

We also invite women who love to sing or perhaps haven't sang in a while and want to get back into the joy of singing, to attend one of our rehearsals to discover what our chorus is all about. We rehearse on Monday evenings 6:30 to 9:00 at the Redlands United Methodist Church, located at 527 Village Way, Grand Junction, CO 81507.
