A largely forgotten masterpiece, the 1939 film The Women remains a glamorous but stinging satire about women forced by society to be defined by men. In her book Jungle Red!, Douglas restores the classic motion picture to its place in Hollywood history and explores its legacy for later female-driven projects.

Tickets: $35 bundled ticket includes a copy of the book; $5 general admission (no book). The museum store will be open before and after; Illeana Douglas will sign copies bundled with tickets and sold by the museum store.
