We are honored to welcome Sylvia Stitt Smith as our guest speaker for the National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims.
After her beloved 23-year-old son, Samuel “Sam” Stitt, was taken by gun violence in 2019, Sylvia transformed her unimaginable grief into purposeful service, advocacy, and support for others. Through the Sam Stitt Foundation, she and her family continue Sam’s legacy by investing in scholarships, youth development, education, survivor support, and violence prevention.
