More About Medina COunty Historical Society Open Houses
The Medina County Historical Society will have an open house on Sunday, October 11th. New this year, both museums are now open on the same day! Stop by on the second Sunday of each month from 1pm to 4pm and enjoy the John Smart House at 206 N. Elmwood Ave and the McDowell-Phillips House Museum at 205 S. Prospect St.
Visit the History of Medicine in Medina County exhibit at the John Smart House, featuring medical tools, a historic timeline, and video interviews.
Plus, we will also have free pumpkins for anyone who would like to have one to participate in the City of Medina Pumpkin Salute! A limited amount of pumpkins are available. Limit is 1 per family. John Smart House Museum - suggested donation is $5.
McDowell-Phillips House Museum - $10 Adults, Seniors $9, Youth age 7 - 17 $7, and under 7 free! Tours at the McDowell-Phillips House begin every 20 minutes starting at 1pm. Blake Avenue is now available with some new on street parallel parking spaces.
