With a touch of Drosselmeyer magic, Clara’s holiday dream unfolds in High Point Ballet’s beloved production of The Nutcracker. Toy soldiers march into battle, sword-fighting rats stir up mischief, swirling snowflakes guide Clara into the Land of the Sweets, and the Sugar Plum Fairy welcomes her to a world of wonder.
Award-winning Artistic Director Gary Taylor’s choreography, stunning sets by Howard Jones, and radiant lighting by Craig Stelzenmueller come together to create a beautifully theatrical experience filled with imagination, artistry, and the spirit of the season.
Celebrating its 39th season, High Point Ballet’s The Nutcracker has enchanted generations of audiences throughout the Triad, continuing a beloved holiday tradition nearly four decades in the making.
