More About Tarot Poetry Workshop
Step into the historic Mark Twain House for an evening where poetry and tarot intertwine. Poet Laureate of Glastonbury Victoria Nordlund will guide you in creating original poems inspired by the iconic Rider-Waite Tarot Deck and the gorgeous Gilded Age rooms of Mark Twain’s Hartford mansion. This workshop welcomes writers of all levels. All workshops involve writing in the historic house itself, so tickets are extremely limited.
Tickets: $35; $20 for museum members. Hartford residents with SNAP/EBT cards can access $7.50 tickets by sending a photo of their card to reservations@marktwainhouse.org.
Add-on option: Add a personal 15-minute tarot reading before or after the workshop for $25 and receive your own Rider-Waite deck to use and take home (indicate before/after at checkout; the museum follows up with a timeslot).
Accessibility note: A portion of this workshop takes place on the third floor; the house does not have an elevator, so participants must be able to climb stairs to participate fully.
