The City of Crown Point is Closing Out October with a Variety of Fun, Family-Friendly Events
๐ Pumpkin Walk
Trick or treat around the square at local businesses in downtown Crown Point. Participating businesses will have a Pumpkin Walk flyer in the window. For a list of participating businesses, please visit the City of Crown Point Facebook page, @CityofCrownPointIN, closer to the event date. Costumes are encouraged.
Time: 11 a.m.โ1 p.m.

๐ Inaugural Crown Point Coffin Cup
The City of Crown Point is partnering with First United Methodist Church to host the inaugural Crown Point Coffin Cup. The race will take place immediately following the Cityโs Pumpkin Walk in the historic Crown Point square, with teams set to race 100 yards south on Main Street.
Form a team and knock the competition dead! Proceeds will benefit local charities. For more information and to sign up, visit crownpointcoffinrace.com.

Trunk or treat with the Crown Point Police Department! Visit Legacy Fields at Center Ross Park for trick-or-treating with the Crown Point Police Department. Crown Point first responders will have their cars decorated with lots of candy and swag. Costumes encouraged!

Trick-or-treating will be held rain or shine on Halloween. Participating homes should turn on a porch light to welcome trick-or-treaters.

The City of Crown Point was founded on Oct. 31, 1834, by Solon Robinson. At the time, it was known as Robinsonโs Prairie, named after Solon Robinson. Crown Point was incorporated as a town on June 3, 1868, and officially became a city 43 years later on June 6, 1911.
