More About ASAP! Celebration of Young Photographers Free Exhibition
ASAP! will present its 16th Annual Celebration of Young Photographers exhibition on Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 2:00–3:30 p.m. at the Silpe Gallery at the University of Hartford’s Hartford Art School. The free exhibition, open to the public, will feature 60 photographs selected by a panel of professional judges from submissions by students in grades 6–12.
This year’s exhibition explores the theme Traditions, inviting young photographers to consider the traditions that shape their lives and the world around them. The featured photographs offer a range of perspectives on how traditions are passed down, evolve over time, and take shape through family, culture, community, and everyday life.
Celebration of Young Photographers provides student photographers an opportunity to participate in a gallery exhibition juried by professional photographers. The November 1 exhibition brings together students, families, educators, and members of the community to celebrate the creativity and perspectives of young photographers.

To foster creative, hands-on learning through the arts: ASAP!
Founded in 1999, ASAP! is a social profit organization recognized as the place for quality and innovative arts education year-round offering literary, performing, visual, and culinary programs for pre-k through adult. Since our inception ASAP! has given nearly half a million dollars in financial aid to families in need. ASAP! never turns a child away.
