More About Medina County Historical Society Holiday Open Houses
An annual holiday tradition, the Medina County Historical Society returns with Holiday Open Houses at the John Smart House, 206 N. Elmwood Ave., and McDowell-Phillips House, 205 S. Prospect St. Come visit both museums on the same day! The McDowell-Phillips House will be decorated in the holiday spirit by local businesses, groups, and MCHS members. Plus, the Gingerbread House Contest entries will be on display at the John Smart House. Come vote for your favorite! Both museums will be open on the following dates and times:
Sunday, November 8 – 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Saturday, November 21 – 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
Sunday, December 13 – 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Sunday, December 27 – 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
In celebration of America 250, admission is by donations at both museums. We are also collecting non-perishable food for local food pantries.
