Winterlights at Newfields

Experience the wonder of nearly two million lights glittering in The Garden this holiday season at Winterlights. Winterlights transforms Newfields into a winter wonderland. To commemorate 10 years of winter magic, guests will be delighted by brand new displays and old favorites from past years. For example, new this year, experience moonGARDEN by Lucion — a custom shadow theater show inspired by the plants of the Madeline F. Elder Greenhouse. Returning from the very first year of Winterlights, see Playtime in Indy, a tree sculpture made entirely of colorful toys by artist Karl Unnasch. The wintertime wonder extends inside the historic Lilly House with Styled for the Season. Experience delightfully decorated rooms adorned with towering stacks of beautifully wrapped gifts, a charming Dickens-inspired library, lavishly trimmed trees, and snow much more.
