More About CYPHACON
CYPHACON 2027 returns to Lake Charles for its 15th annual celebration of all things pop culture, happening April 2–4, 2027, at the Lake Charles Event Center.
As the largest fan-run pop culture convention in Louisiana, this three-day event transforms the entire Event Center complex into an immersive experience for fans of comics, anime, gaming, film, and more. Attendees can look forward to celebrity guests, cosplay appearances, live performances, and over 110 hours of original panels and programming.
CYPHACON offers something for every fan, including a high-energy cosplay contest, a dynamic gaming arena featuring tabletop and video game tournaments, and an expansive vendor marketplace showcasing artists, makers, and specialty retailers. Families can also enjoy CyPhaKids, a dedicated space for younger attendees to explore interactive, geek-inspired activities.
Beyond the convention floor, the excitement continues with special events like the annual CYPHACON Pub Crawl in downtown Lake Charles, where attendees can dress up, explore local hotspots, and enjoy themed drink specials.
Guests will also find a variety of local and regional food vendors and food trucks, adding to the vibrant festival atmosphere. Plus, CYPHACON’s long-standing charity auction supports Southwest Louisiana organizations, making this event as impactful as it is entertaining.
Whether you're a dedicated fan or new to the scene, CYPHACON 2027 promises a weekend packed with creativity, community, and unforgettable experiences.
