More About The Stray Cats Add Fall 2026 Dates, Including a Stop at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta
The Stray Cats will follow their summer tour with a monthlong run of fall dates, including a Friday, Nov. 27 performance at the Fox Theatre. The tour features all three original members — Brian Setzer on guitar and vocals, Lee Rocker on upright bass and vocals, and Slim Jim Phantom on drums and vocals. Tickets are on sale now at foxtheatre.org.
The fall tour will run from Nov. 9 through Dec. 6, with a setlist featuring fan favorites from the multiplatinum-selling band, including “Stray Cat Strut,” “Rock This Town,” “Runaway Boys” and “(She’s) Sexy + 17.” The dates mark the trio’s latest run of performances together and continue a career spanning more than four decades.
“It’s good to be healthy and strong again,” Setzer said. “There’s something about the unique sound of The Stray Cats that keeps drawing me in. The Gretsch guitar, the acoustic bass and the stand-up drums still sound pure and fresh today.”
The upcoming run will bring the band to venues across the country, reconnecting longtime fans with its signature blend of rockabilly, rock ’n’ roll and punk energy.
“It’s an amazing feeling to join up with Brian and Slim, hit the stage and rock across America,” Rocker said. “No one can do it like us Cats.”
The tour follows the band’s 2025 release of two tracks through Surfdog Records: the original song “Stampede” and a cover of Eddie Cochran’s “Teenage Heaven.” The recordings marked The Stray Cats’ first new music in six years.
Both tracks were produced by the band, mixed by Chris Lord-Alge and recorded at The Terrarium in Minneapolis and Laguna Sound in Laguna Beach, California. “Stampede” was written by Setzer, Peter B. Antonio, Wally Zober, Bert Salmirs and Mike Himelstein, while “Teenage Heaven” was written by Jerry Capehart and Cochran. The songs are available to listen to HERE and will be released as a 7-inch, 45 rpm vinyl single July 24.
“With The Stray Cats, there’s always some extra magic around the shows,” Phantom said. “It’s the perfect time for the Cats and Kittens to get dolled up, put the top down and cruise to the greatest rockabilly show on earth.”
