More About Grief Poetry Workshop

Guided by poet and master teaching artist Victoria Nordlund, this workshop offers a safe space to explore the emotions of loss through the power of poetry. For writers of all levels, this workshop offers a nurturing environment to craft verses in the Mark Twain House that reflect the participant’s unique journey, to find solace and connection with others, and to discover the profound impact of poetry in navigating grief.

Tickets are $35; $20 for museum members.

Hartford residents with SNAP/EBT cards can access $7.50 tickets by sending a photo of their card to reservations@marktwainhouse.org.

A portion of this workshop will take place on the third floor of the historic Mark Twain House. The house does not have an elevator, so participants must be able to climb stairs to participate in fully in this workshop.

We would like to thank the Greater Hartford Arts Council for their generous support of this program. We are proud to partner with an organization that is passionate about building a stronger community through the arts while giving more people access to arts experiences throughout the Greater Hartford Region.
