More About Wild Winterland Day at the Washington Park Zoo
Grab your coat, gloves, boots and plan to join the WPZoo Staff for our last day of the 2026 season at our Wild Winterland Day at the Washington Park Zoo on December 5th.
The zoo will be open from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm for guests to visit the staff and your animal friends.
We will be hosting “Keeper Chats” throughout the day to meet some of the education ambassadors up-close like the armadillo, corn snake, hedgehog, chinchilla, parrot, and more.
Grab your phone and your “Who-villest” holiday sweater for a photo with the Grinch 11:00 am until 2:30 pm in the classroom, swing the Peacock Cafe for a some hot cocoa or a snack and be sure to browse through Treehouse Giftshop for some zoo-rrific gift options.
Its a great time to shop our Amazon Wish list or to clear out your cabinets to donate gently used items for your favorite animals. Click for Details
During the event, we will also be having a few random secret “Keeper “door prize giveaways.
