More About Minneapolis - Turkey Day 5K
Start your Thanksgiving festivities strong with a 5K through Downtown Minneapolis. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for some festive on-course entertainment on race morning!
This is a family friendly event. The 5K distance is perfect for all ages and paces – joggers, walkers and strollers are welcome! Kids 18 and under run TCM events at no cost.
The 2026 Turkey Day 5K will feature a Walker Wave, giving people who want to walk the 3.1-mile course a dedicated place at the starting line. This initiative reflects a shared commitment from our presenting partner, One Pass, and Twin Cities In Motion to help more people take the first step toward staying active.
