More About Sensory-Friendly Experiences at CAMP – April Wednesdays
In honor of Autism Acceptance Month, CAMP Chicago is offering sensory-friendly experiences every Wednesday in April starting at 2 PM. Families are invited to enjoy playtime in the Canteen or step behind the Magic Door in a more inclusive, supportive environment.
During these sessions, lighting and sound levels will be reduced, music will be quieter, and guests can access cozy areas, fidget toys, and sensory headphones. The PAW Patrol™ Experience will also operate as sensory-friendly during these times, with adapted activities and additional staff support to accommodate a wide range of sensory needs.
This experience is not drop-off; children must be accompanied by an adult, and all guests ages 2 and up must have a ticket. Additional sensory-friendly showtimes will be available throughout April—check the CAMP Chicago schedule for details.
