More About Diane Blue All-Star Band

Diane Blue All-Star Band with Special Guest Cliff Goodwin

Boston's Diane Blue is a “multi-talented performer who’s equally at home belting out a blues standard or cutting loose with a ferocious harmonica solo.” (Bill Van Siclen, Providence Journal). Her performances are deeply soulful, captivating, charismatic, and heartfelt. She leads her ensemble of world-class musicians when she is not singing with Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters. Her All-Star band is guitar virtuoso Chris Vitarello, Hammond organ aficionado Dave Limina, and ace drummer Chris Anzalone.

Special guest Cliff Goodwin is a renowned guitarist who joined Joe Cocker’s band, The American Standard Band, and toured and recorded with him for over a decade. He played on some of Cocker’s biggest hits, such as “Shelter Me,” “Leave Your Hat On,” “Fun Time,” and “Up Where We Belong."

Danielle Miraglia, armed with a strong, steady thumb on an old Gibson and an infectious stomp-box rhythm, brings a unique blend of heartfelt and socially conscious tunes to the stage. Her latest album, Bright Shining Stars, debuted at #15 on the Billboard Blues Charts, a testament to her talent. The Cascade Blues Association describes her music as “... tough as rawhide, but smooth as blended whiskey.”

More About Hopkinton Center for the Arts

The Hopkinton Center for the Arts offers arts to all people.

Our classes, productions, and exhibitions serve an inclusive community of students, performers, and exhibiting artists diverse in age, ability, experience, ethnicity, and geography.

Among our innovative current programs:

* Visual arts instruction for developmentally disabled adults

* Music instruction for infants and toddlers

* Linkage with public school students and teachers, who use HCA as an educational resource in the arts and in leadership training

In the visual arts, theater, music, and dance, HCA annually offers over 200 classes to more than 1,000 students, from preschool to seniors, drawn from the diverse population of over 40 neighboring cities and towns. In 2015 we opened our new art center, with newly renovated classrooms, a new 200-seat performance space, and a new exhibition space. The Delbridge Family Performance Space and the Lotvin Family Gallery annually present dozens of productions and exhibitions by students and adults, amateurs and professionals. Created in 2011, HCA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community arts center, fosters and celebrates the creative spirit in everyone.
