More About IU Health Mobile Lung Screening in Mitchell!
If you or someone you know currently smokes or has quit in the last 15 years, don't wait! A quick 2-minute lung scan could save your life. Lung scans are painless, requires no needles, no prep or special diet, and does not require you to change your clothes.
Indiana University Health is now offering mobile lung screening in your community that is covered by most insurance plans including Medicare and Medicaid if you meet both of the following requirements:
-Ages 50 - 77 AND
-Have a history of smoking for 20 years
-If you meet the above requirements but have quit in the last 15 years you may be eligible as well, contact us to discuss eligibility
