Secondly, we believe change never occurs where awareness and education lack. With over 80 pigs in our care and calls for those needing homes flooding in daily - we know the best defense is a good offense. We aim to educate and bring awareness to the growing problem of backyard breeders and the lack of understanding of what owning a swine truly requires.
To help us better achieve our mission, we've made the Oinkin Oasis a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
With this in mind, your donations are 100% tax-deductible and all monies given go directly to the residents of our sanctuary for feed, shelter, vet care, bedding and any other needs that occur daily.
Neither I or the board members of this organization receive any salary for our time.
