More About Cumberland Community Tree Planting

Wild Potomac is organizing an event series in Cumberland that's dedicated to connecting with the trees that are local to our ecosystem. There will be four events, the first of which is a community tree planting taking place on Saturday, April 25th in the Gene Mason Sports Complex (RSVP link). The tree planting will focus on expanding the native and food-producing trees that residents of Cumberland have access to and will include samples of tree foods. This event will be a great way to spend time with other folks in the community and learn new skills around tree planting and care.

The other events in the series include a tree identification walk, a tree care/maintenance event, and a tree foods processing event. Events are geared towards folks of all ages and are free to attend. You can view event details and sign up for more information at Click for Details
