Meet Our Staff
Sand and Surf Weddings is owned and operated by Richard Martin, who is an Ordained Minister in South Carolina for over 35 years. He currently pastors his own non-profit ministry, Richard Martin Ministries. You can find his sermons on Facebook. Sand and Surf Weddings and the Myrtle Beach Wedding Chapel helps fund the ongoing finances of this small mission church.

Richard, as he likes to be called, is not your run of the mill, starchy collared minister. He likes to be carefree and have fun to help take the edge off, but keeps the tone of the ceremony as meaningful as it should be. You will leave feeling that he is a part of your family.

Richard’s wife, Teresa, handles the day to day operations. She will be the voice you hear when you call. Richard and Teresa have worked together to make beautiful beach weddings for almost 20 years. That’s right, It is a family operation.

Sand and Surf Weddings has retained the services of Dustin Gilder. He is a professional photographer that has been with us for over 5 years. He loves the camera and will take lots of pictures to capture your day. He is also a professional videographer and TV producer. He currently has a show on NBCSports network called “Traveling Golfer.”
