1. Use outdoor-rated cords only: Indoor cords are not designed for rain, moisture, or cool nights. Outdoor-rated cords are made for seasonal decorating.
2. Do not daisy-chain multiple cords: Plugging one extension cord into another adds resistance and increases the risk of overheating. One properly sized cord is always safer than several linked together. ✅
