A simple pond yacht uses several parts that must work together:
â—Ź A keel, often made from a CD, adds ballast and keeps the boat upright
â—Ź A rudder at the stern controls direction
â—Ź Magnets or rods hold the structure in place while allowing adjustments
The first launch might tilt too much or drift sideways. That is part of the process. A small change in ballast, sail angle, or rudder position often improves performance. ⛵
Each trial teaches something new about wind, balance, and motion.
