More About Independence Park Rededication Celebration
We cordially invite you to join us in our Independence Park Rededication Celebration on Saturday, May 30 at 10 a.m.
From the summer of 2025 till present day, we have completed a significant number of renovations and updates.
This includes updates to parking lot, new shelter roofs and paint, a new gazebo, new landscaping, new trees planted, pickleball courtsa new 9-foot-wide trail and story walk system, and an overall cleanup.
All of the above construction (approximate $250,000) has been financed by revenue generated by Johnson County Parks & Recreation. A special thank you goes out to the Johnson County Commissioners for funding the construction of the new pickleball courts last year.
