More About Fall Scarecrow Festival
It’s that time of year again! Bring the whole family for a fun fall day at our annual Fall Scarecrow Festival!
Dance to live bluegrass and swing music by Too Blue while you enjoy the fall weather with tasty seasonal food and treats.
This year’s theme for the Fall Festival will connect with our newest fall exhibition The Holley Boarding House: Inspiring American Impressionism, which opens October 8th and features the Holley family and how their house we now know as the Bush-Holley House became the center for the first Impressionist art colony in Connecticut.
Enjoy family friendly crafts and activities inspired by the artists who made Cos Cob their home. Design your own Halloween mask that you can wear while you make picture frames fit for an artistic masterpiece and learn how to do etching and printmaking. Complete an art-themed scavenger hunt before the festival ends.
