Our award-winning theatre company began a new chapter of its history in 1997 when we purchased the Chicago Street Theatre, located at 154 West Chicago Street in Valparaiso, Indiana. The theatre underwent an extensive renovation completed February 1, 2008. The intimate 130-seat theatre now features brand new stadium seating that makes it an incredible space to enjoy live theatre.

The Dunes Summer Theatre is located at the border between the states of Indiana and Michigan, on a scenic 20+ acre wooded site in the Lake Michigan dunes, about a half mile from the lake shore itself. The theater seats over 200 patrons.

Star Plaza Theatre is an intimate 3400-seat theatre, conveniently located just outside Chicago where I-65 and US30 meet. The auditorium has two seating levels in a semi-circle around the stage. The Main Floor Level seats 2,000 people and the Mezzanine Level, which overhangs the main level about midway, seats 1,400. The furthest seat in the auditorium is only 120 feet from the stage thrust.

Originally founded in 1990 as the North Coast Cultural Association and was located in the former St. Patrick's Catholic Church until a fire burned the church down in 1998. Our second location, now the Fourth Street Theater, opened its doors in the fall of 1999. Our first performance was a revival of Footlight Players production of “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, abridged” in 2000. We then produced our first show in the spring of 2001: "The Good War." In the summer of 2002, we joined the Northwest Indiana Excellence in Theatre Foundation, or NIETF, from whom we have since received over 120 nominations and 40 awards for excellence in all aspects of theatrical production.
