Furnaces can be powered by oil, as well as, natural gas and electric current but gas-powered furnaces are mostly used because of its higher energy efficiency.

Furnaces designed for larger homes produce ample heat but will lose most of their energy through cracks, holes, or faulty seals.


This means the cycle it takes to heat your home is shorter than it should be causing your furnace to come on off and on frequently throughout the hour
