Indiana Dunes State Park History Hunt

In celebration of the Indiana Dunes State Park’s 100th Birthday, the annual Duneland History Center History Hunt will take place on Saturday, September 26 from 1 PM until 4 PM at Indiana Dunes State Park. All participants must begin the hunt at the Indiana Dunes State Park Nature Center before 2:30 PM to get their first clue. Registration begins September 19 at 9 AM and can be done online, at the library, or by calling the History Center. Follow the clues, complete the challenges, and visit some of the many historical sites in the park. Participants will need to navigate trails and roads at the park. The hunt is fun for all ages, but parents or guardians should accompany their children. A treat awaits those who complete the clues!
