Louisiana Preservation Conference

Each year, the Louisiana Trust for Historic Preservation and partners are proud to host the annual Louisiana Preservation Conference for tours, educational sessions and networking. The 43nd Annual Louisiana Preservation Conference will be held in Lafayette on April 4 & 5, 2024.

Events will be held at various locations, with the welcome and breakout educational sessions on Friday, April 5 being offered at the Lafayette Science Museum – 433 Jefferson St, Lafayette, LA 70501

Thursday, April 4

1 to 4 p.m. – Historic Rehabilitation Tax Incentive Workshop: (ticketed event) (may be purchased without full conference registration) 703 Lee Avenue – Social Hall behind the sanctuary of the First United Methodist Church of Lafayette Downtown

Join us for an in-depth workshop covering all aspects of the Federal and State Historic Rehabilitation Tax Incentive Programs. We will review the program eligibility requirements, how to prepare and submit applications, and how to ensure your projects meets the Secretary of the Interior Standards for Rehabilitation.
