More About G's Pizzeria

Our Story ...

It all started in 1983 in West Branch, Michigan. Chris, along with his mother and father (Sharon & Arthur) decided to open a small Italian Pizzeria and Eatery in the downtown Victorian West Branch. Sharon proclaimed and believed that, "If you give good quality food at a fair price in a warm friendly environment, people will come". We took that motto and ran with it, provided our customers with amazing food, friendly atmosphere and at a fair price. We pride ourselves on holding true to that motto today!

Our food, concept and values were a great success! We started out with only 25 seats and now we can seat over 350 in West Branch!

Sharon believed the smartest thing she did was taking on her son as a business partner. So, she decided to double down and in 1986 she went into business with Mark and opened our second G's in Kalkaska. Soon after in 1988, we opened our third location in East Tawas with Paul.

As the first three locations found their footing, we opened Houghton Lake in 1997, Oscoda in 1999, Bay City in 2005, Lake Orion in 2008 and Saginaw in 2014. These new stores brought in new family members to the business with Michael, Alfred, Scott, Dan, Mario, Amy, Alexis, Deborah, Christopher, Adam, and Jason coming on board to put us where we are today!

Although we lost Sharon in August of 2010, her spirit and wisdom still lives on in our family and in our restaurants. We pride ourselves on providing amazing food and treating our customers as family. We hope you enjoy dining with us and can't wait to see you back soon!
