More About Feathers & Fermentation Event
On Sunday, April 28, 2024, join Indiana Audubon for a Feathers and Fermentation event via Top Shelf Tours! The adventure kicks off at 2pm at Ash & Elm Cider Co., where we gather for a tasting and an opportunity to purchase carryout libations for the road trip. Feel free to bring your favorite thermos to fill with hot mulled cider. We’ll then drive up to the Eagle Creek Ornithology Center, where we’ll have a building tour highlighting the new aviaries, and also get a special chance to witness some fun feeding and training demos. Afterwards, we’ll make a pit stop in Speedway at the delightful Daredevil Brewing for drinks and further merriment, before returning to Indy to arrive back to Ash and Elm at about 6pm, where everyone is invited to continue hanging out, get something to eat, and of course drink more delicious cider and chat all about birds until you're ready to head home.
This event is open to adults ages 21 and up. Dress appropriately for the weather and bring binoculars if you have them (we will have a limited amount available for those who need them). Whether you've never been birding before or consider yourself an expert, you are most welcome!
