More About Whitestown Library Branch - Grand Opening!
Join us on April 20th for an unforgettable day packed with fun-filled activities, exclusive author chats, time with therapy dogs, and a special performance by The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra featuring The Teddy Bear Series program!
SCHEDULE
2pm: Key speakers, ribbon-cutting, and official photo
2:30pm: Doors will open to the public.
2:30-5pm: Guided building tours with library swag in each area visited ending at HMMPL Friends of the Library book sale area. Enjoy free snacks and learn how to get involved.
2:30–5pm: MakerStudio technology demonstrations.
3pm: Teddy Bear Symphony concert in Community Room. Designed for ages 3-6. Registration required.
3–4:30pm: Visit with Ttherapy dogs in the Reading Room (Clover 3-3:30pm; Groban 3:30-4pm; Pearl 4-4:30pm)
3–4pm: Author Angie Karcher will share her stories in the Children`s Area.
3–4:30pm: Drop by the Teens Area to draw with local author and illustrator Rob Harrell.
