Caryn Borgetti has been a private music/piano teacher since 1986. Caryn is a professional singer. She teaches the 1st/2nd grade children’s choir at Our Saviours Church and she is the song leader in her church. She has taught general music (K-5) in district 203 for 14 years.

It is her love of children and her enthusiasm for music that creates a nurturing learning environment where children have fun while gaining skills used to begin instrumental lessons at a later age.

Music Class Objectives

To instill the joy of music in children by engaging families in developmentally appropriate music activities involving the whole child – the child’s desire for language, the body’s urge to move, the brain’s attraction to patterns, the ear’s lead in initiating communication, the voice’s response to sounds, as well as the eye-hand coordination associated with playing musical instruments.

As a general rule, our publishers are happy to accept non-profit events, but some publishers may have individual policies concerning for-profit events or events that compete with paying Town Planner sponsors. If you're uncertain about your event, please feel free to contact your local publisher to inquire about his or her policies prior to posting.

Remember too that we are a family friendly organization and reserve the right to reject any events that we deem inappropriate for our calendar or online media tools.
