Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary while stepping back in time at this free public Military Living History Event on Friday, June 19 & Saturday, June 20 (Father’s Day Weekend)!
Join us for a free public event celebrating the food and rations that fed soldiers throughout history!
Free admission for the public, and free shuttle and parking at Amherst Junior High, 548 Milan Avenue, Amherst, Ohio 44001
This unique timeline display welcomes all eras, and includes military, home front, and camp followers.
Field kitchens will compete and offer samples of period meals for a donation.
Attendees will enjoy:

Shooting demonstrations
Military surplus vendors
Kids’ activities
And more!
Over 5,000 people attended in 2025, and this year promises to be even bigger!
