
More About Museum Week @ Evergreen
Join us in celebrating Mountain Traditions during the 2026 Mountain Maryland Museum Week! Evergreen will be open each day June 15th-19th from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. for museum and exhibit tours. Check out the Farmhouse Museum, Living Off the Land Agricultural Museum, Miner’s Mule Stable, Boarding House, Blacksmith Shop, Mine Opening, Gatehouse, and the 1822 Kitchen & Garden. The week will also feature three additional programs:
Mon. June 15 @ 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – The History of the Liberty Tree & Wye Oak with Champ Zumbrun
Tues. June 16 @ 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – Make & Take Appalachian Ragdolls
Wed. June 17 @ 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – Visit the Evergreen Bog and make your own bog bowl
Thurs. June 18 @ 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – Tour the 1822 Kitchen & garden, then participate in an outdoor cooking demo
