More About Summer Original Credit & Credit Recovery Programs
ACPS two credit programs offered for students: Original Credit and Credit Recovery.
We're now accepting applications for our Original Credit program for students entering grades 9,10,11 & 12 next year. These courses are for student who haven't previously taken them. This summer, we're offering Physical Education, Art Appreciation, Foundations of Technology, Health II, and Personal Financial Literacy. Visit acpsmd.org/our_families and select the link for "Summer School Programs". On that page, you'll find an online application under the Original Credit program section. The deadline to apply is May 15th.
Our second program is the Credit Recovery program, which is for students who've attempted a course without receiving a passing grade. This program helps to keep them on track to graduation. We offer Credit Recovery Summer Schools at all three high schools. We provide transportation, breakfast, and lunch for the 20-day program. Students must register with their school counselor and may register for two courses.
