More About National Library Week: Blackout Poetry Contest at Merrillville Branch Library
To celebrate National Library Week, the Merrillville branch will be hosting a blackout poetry contest. Patrons will use Library supplies to make a unique poem by marking out words to create new sentences. Each poem will be displayed on our 'poetree' for other patrons to admire. Library staff will choose a favorite poem the following Monday and award that patron a $10 gift card!
