TCF Bank Stadium is an outdoor stadium located on the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis, Minnesota. When it opened in 2009, it became the first new football stadium in the Big Ten Conference since 1960. The stadium serves as the home for the Minnesota Golden Gophers and was the temporary home of Minnesota United FC of Major League Soccer, as well as the NFL's Minnesota Vikings. The stadium features a unique horseshoe-style design, seating 50,805 spectators and costing a total of $303.3 million to build. Additionally, the stadium has the potential for expansion, with seating for up to 80,000 spectators.
