More About St. Louis Park - Arbor Day Art Event

Join us for a crafting session to make your own tree-themed paper mâché lantern! Whether your inspiration comes from a sapling, acorn, leaf or even a tree-dwelling critter, we will help you create and decorate a lantern that fits your vision and celebrates the trees planted.

During the city’s Arbor Day celebration on May 14, we will mount these lanterns on top of real tree branches to carry at the celebratory tree ramble.

This free event is open house style, and crafts take about one hour to make. Ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. The event is for ages 5 and above.
