More About DIGITAL ASSISTANT CAMERA TRAINING FOR FEATURES, TELEVISION & COMMERCIALS

This 2-Day class, Digital Assistant Camera Training for features, TV and commercials workshop is designed to grow the local Indiana film and television production workforce. Using a Hollywood influenced Midwest industry perspective, it will prepare “job-ready” 1st Assistant Camera, 2nd Assistant Camera and Data Managers to work on feature films, episodic television and commercials. Training will include an overview of job responsibilities, hands-on practical application of common tasks, purpose and function of camera equipment and expendables as well as an explanation of the variances of working on features, television and commercials.

This in-depth course will cover:

An introduction to the film and camera department as well as phases of film and tv production.
Detailed responsibilities of both the 1st and 2nd assistant camera roles on a production.
Data Management
Gear and Resources
Camera package prep/wrap
Where to find work and personal safeguards on the job
Open gear session with cameras and equipment
The ideal participants should come prepared knowing the basic fundamentals of camera components and settings and have a basic familiarity with common motion picture cameras.

This workshop is being hosted by Roberts Camera and will feature equipment from Canon, Sony, Smallrig, Accsoon, Promaster, Kondor Blue and more!
